MYRTLE BEACH REAL ESTATE SPECIALIST
MYRTLE BEACH REAL ESTATE SPECIALIST
Many years ago, a star was born. He goes by the name today, as Travis Willis. Travis was born in Orlando, FL close to the time the Walt Disney World was starting up in the Sunshine State. Don’t let Travis fool you by telling you he is only 26 years old because he has been celebrating being 26 for more than 20 years. Travis moved in 2nd grade to Salt Lake City, UT. He lived there for roughly three years before moving to Oklahoma City, Ok. There he lived for another three years before moving to Scottsdale, AZ. While Travis was still in high school in Arizona, his family was moved once again to Grapevine, TX. There, he graduated from Grapevine High School and within a year afterwards, he entered the United States Marine Corps.
From 1993-1999 Travis Willis served honorably and was fortunate to see many different parts of the world. During his 6 years in the Marines, he was stationed in California, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, and Japan. Actually, while Travis was stationed in Japan, he was able to climb Mount Fuji and he even met many locals throughout the time he was overseas. Most of his time serving in the Marines, Travis was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. This was only a short 2-hour drive to Myrtle Beach, SC. During that time, Travis’ parents, Larry and Linda Willis owned a condo in North Myrtle Beach. This was the ideal place to get away and relax by the beach.
When Travis Willis entered into the civilian sector, he decided to first move back to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Texas. He was able to enjoy the metroplex for a few years before being called to the beach from his parents. Larry and Linda Willis decided that they wanted to live the “Beach Life” and sell North Myrtle Beach Real Estate. So, Travis Willis decided it was best to move to Myrtle Beach with his family in order to sell some of the best real estate along the Grand Strand.
Before Travis Willis left the great state of Texas, he was able to meet a wonderful woman, named Shoni, who happened to be a Texas native. They moved their family to the beach to see what it was like to live in South Carolina. Shortly after they moved to South Carolina, they were married and have been together since 2004. Together Travis and Shoni share three magnificent children Anthony, Ariel, and Justin.
Before Travis and Shoni met, Shoni was affiliated in some or fashion to the health care industry. She decided to change things up and continue going to graduate school to further her education in the health care field. So, in order to be close by, Travis Willis took a leave from real estate and moved to Laurens, SC. Laurens, SC is close by the Greenville/Spartanburg area, that is considered the South Carolina’s “Upstate” region. Then they ended up moving to Lakeland, FL, which is half-way between Tampa, FL and Orlando, Fl.
Once they moved to Florida, Travis Willis went straight to work for Disney. While working at Disney, Travis worked for the Disney Cruise Line that is located in Celebration, FL. This is a stone-throw away from the Disney Parks. Trust me, it is not a bad thing to be only a stone-throw away from the Disney Parks. Plus, it was not too bad to see what it was like to work for the “Happiest Place on Earth”. This was not considered a job, as it was more of an experience to work as a Cast Member and something that will never be forgotten. Also, working for the cruise line had it perks as well. Travis Willis was able to go on a few fun and exciting cruises. So, if you must know, Travis still has a little “Pixie Dust” that will always stick with him and he is fairly a fun guy to hang out with as well. Sometime in 2018, Travis Willis decided to return to real estate and help out his family business to show others how wonderful Myrtle Beach Real Estate can be.
Now, if anyone were to ask Travis Willis about his hobbies or favorite things to do, he would tell you that there a quite a few things that he has interests in. Not only does he love to show off everything about Myrtle Beach Real Estate, he loves to show others why Myrtle Beach is called the top “Go-To” beach in the country. Besides showing off Myrtle Beach Real Estate, Travis loves to spend as much time with his wife and kids. They love to vacation anywhere there is some body of water close by. So, if sipping Pina Coladas or Margaritas are your thing, come hang out with us!! If he is not at the real estate office showing property, he is most likely on some beach with his family relaxing. He also found out that he enjoys going to Disney to visit his fellow Cast Members, while also enjoying time with his family seeing what else Disney had added to their parks and resorts since he was last there for a visit.
